APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #8006 FOR IRRIGATION INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES
Description
Bids to provide 'Irrigation Installation, Maintenance and Repair Services' were received from four vendors on November 15, 2007. The bids of Central Florida Landscaping, Inc., for north county locations and Rainmaster, LLC dba Lang Irrigation for mid county and south county locations were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department.
Recommendation
That the bids of Central Florida Landscaping, Inc., for north county locations and Rainmaster, LLC dba Lang Irrigation for mid county and south county locations, to provide 'Irrigation Installation, Maintenance and Repair Services' in an amount not to exceed $300,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
